Our daughter Hannah is 7 years old and has Down's syndrome. When we were told the news that she had Down's syndrome we were devestated and we felt our whole world fall apart. We soon received the news that Hannah had a heart defect that required open heart surgery and all of sudden we completely forgot about this label that had been given to our daughter and wanted to give our little girl our love and care that she deserved.

We were thankful that after open heart surgery Hannah made a complete recovery and lives a very busy life. After the success of last year's calendar, we decided to produce another one to help raise awareness, which we hope will reflect the warmth and love we feel as parents about our children, who have Down's sydnrome and hope that by seeing all the wonderful photographs in the calendar that other people who buy the calendar will see our wonderful children and how proud we all are of them.

Down's sydnrome is the most common learning disability in the world and yet probably the least understood.  We hope as you look through this calendar it will give you a glimpse of who our children are.
